Friday Funday Challenge: Game On – You Name It!

Thank you to Mws R for tagging me to participate in  A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip!‘s Friday Funday Challenge. Describing this challenge as musical chairs with a twist, Bloke says that, if all tagged participants follow the rules shown below, when this challenge ends next Friday (July 20) the questionnaire will bear no resemblance to the one he created today (July 13). Herewith, the rules (if they’re confusing, check out Bloke’s original expansive rules & explanations at the above link):

Rules:

  1. Thank the nominator
  2. Answer Q1-19
  3. Nominate three bloggers and notify them
  4. Each selected blogger must answer 16 of the 19 questions AND insert three new questions to make the 19 AND answer the three newly inserted questions. [hint, delete three questions you don’t like or have an answer for and replace those]
  5. Q14 and Q20 Must remain intact.

Today’s Questions:

1] Which horror movie monster do you think is the deadliest?

Godzilla

2] Which serial killer do you find the most fascinating?

Two, actually. Countess Elizabeth Bathory was a Hungarian/Transylvanian noblewoman who tortured & killed as many as 650 girls during the late 1500s / early 1600s. She is one of the relatively few female serial killers. The second is Ted Bundy, who confessed to 30 murders that occurred over the course of approximately four years but may have killed many more. Most people who knew Bundy apparently considered him to be very personable, charismatic — “normal” — but psychiatric examinations consistently resulted in such diagnoses as sociopath or psychopath.

3] What horror movie scared you the most?

The original “Nightmare on Elm Street” was so frightening that I couldn’t watch any more than the first few minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a horror movie since then; certainly no “slasher” films!

4] Would you rather be attacked by zomies or poltergeists?

Zombies. They move slow enough to get away from them. Poltergeists strike without warning, and you never know where they are.

5] Would you ever stay the night in an abandoned house that everyone claims is haunted?

Absolutely NO.

6] Have you ever tried to contact a spirit with an Ouija Board?

No. A childhood friend had a ouija board, which we planned to try out, but then we both chickened out.

7] If you were asked to film a new horror movie, what would the plot be?

U.S. President, having a personality remarkably like Ted Bundy’s, oversees mass kidnapping of babies and children, many (if not most) of whom are non-English-speaking, including a significant number who are also non-Spanish-speaking. The babies and children are crammed into cages in refrigerated warehouses without any toys or means of amusement, often without sufficient clothing, bedding, or even beds. The guards are forbidden to talk to them or to show them any kindness. Under a court order to reunite the children with their families, the President’s accomplices are unable to comply fully because they have either lost, destroyed, or never made, records that would identify the children and their parents or next of kin.

8] Have you ever seen a ghost?

Thankfully, no.

9] What’s the strangest meal you have ever eaten?

Toss-up between roast pig and some disgusting thing with grits.

10] What is your favorite superstition?

Saying “break a leg” to actors/actresses before they go on stage.

11] What is the creepiest book you have ever read?

Christine by Stephen King

12] What fictional monster movie would you change the ending to?

King Kong should never die at the end. He’s really the victim.

13] Do you believe in life after death?

Yes

14] Which 3 questions will you be deleting to add your own in?

#3, #4, #17

15] Which urban legend scares you the most?

Anything that comes up from the sewers through the toilet

16] Have you ever knowingly or unknowingly been inside a haunted house?

Knowingly, no. Unknowingly? How would I know?

17] If you were the monster/villain in a scary book/movie, who/what would you be?

Frankenstein’s monster. Deep down, he’s really a good guy.

18] Are there any known paranormal phenomenon’s you have witnessed?

Thankfully, no.

19] What scary movie is your favorite?

None. There’s a reason they’re called “scary” movies!

20] The three bloggers you are nominating are?

The Dark Netizen

Sara in LaLa Land

The Darkest Tunnel
